Herbert is among the invited players to participate in the Monte-Carlo Masters 1000 qualifiers
Just hours after announcing the four players who received wild cards for the main draw (Gasquet, Wawrinka, Fognini, Vacherot), the organizers of the Monte-Carlo Masters 1000 did the same for the qualifiers.
Thus, a French player will be present on the Monegasque clay in the coming hours to compete in the qualifiers, and it is Pierre Hugues-Herbert. The 34-year-old player, ranked 169th in the world, lost in the second round of the Marrakech tournament this week against Mattia Bellucci (6-2, 7-5).
